Vivienne founded The Oddative in 2021, a venture that emerged during a time of introspection and creative exploration. The quietude of lockdown inspired her to experiment with various artistic mediums, and it was Jesmonite that truly captured her imagination.
From a young age, Vivienne recognized the profound impact that her surroundings had on her mood, behavior, and overall well-being. This awareness fueled a passion for curating spaces that reflect and enhance her inner world. Whether through redecorating, collecting objects she loves, or simply reshaping a room's energy, she has always felt a deep connection to the spaces she inhabits.
Creativity with her hands has always been where Vivienne finds her truest self. It is from this blend of personal ethos and creative drive that The Oddative was born—a home decor brand dedicated to thoughtful, purposeful design.

Handcrafted locally in Sydney, each item is created with obsessive attention to detail from Jesmonite, ensuring every step in our process is mindful of the environment through reuse, recycling, and restoration.

Our collection is handcrafted from our Australia-based studio. We proudly work in small batches using Jesmonite, crafting each piece through a slow and thoughtful process. No two pieces created are identical, and is rare in its own form, texture and finish, being uniquely made for you and your space.
